Trista Dahleen is currently a junior at Columbia College Chicago. She joined the Frequency Television team Spring Semester 2008. Trista is a Television major concentrating on Production and Directing. Trista has gained experience by not only volunteering at Frequency Television previously but she had worked for a professional theatre.

Trista graduated St. Charles East High School in 2006. During her High School years Trista volunteered for various plays and musicals. In High School Trista also worked for The Norris Culture Arts Center, while working there she has seen various bands perform such as Jim Perteric and the Ides of March. Through her technical experiences at the theatre she became interested in Television.

Trista is the President of the Television Arts Society. Through this student run organization at Columbia College, she encourages students to make networking opportunities by attending different events. These events include speakers who work in the TV business, tours of TV studios and screenings of TV shows.

Trista someday would like to work for a production company that makes documentaries. She also would like to be a Technical Director for a News Show.  In her spare time, Trista likes to throw pots (make pots on the wheel), making people laugh and hanging out with her friends and family.
